We stayed (group tour) at Jiangxi Grand Hotel during Chinese New Year. There was not much to see from your rooms except fireworks going off from different buildings near us. There was a convenience store just outside the hotel. The hotel seemed relatively new and modern. The breakfast buffet had a good selection of asian and western dishes. The TV channels were all in Chinese (mandarin) except maybe one news channel (no HBO). What I remember the most was the bathrooms were well appointed with nice bathtub and showers. The rooms were clean and new looking.

Jiangxi Grand Hotel (in the Fengtai district in Beijing, China) is a new business hotel. I was booked into by a China Focus group tour. There were very few people at the hotel and it had just opened, The rooms were very nice--very firm beds (like most hotels in China)--baths included a seperate tub and shower--many amenities--free internet--turndown service with slippers and robe--in room safe big enough for a laptop (but not bolted to the floor). Location wasn't very good, but with a package tour there really wasn't any free time in Beijing, so the location didn't matter. Breakfast was from 3 set menus (a buffet may be available once occupancy goes up). Many staff--usually at least one with okay English. Would exchange US cash but not traveler's checks. Limited tv.

I have been to the He Nan Plaza several times and got a good impression of the hotel. Its location is very convenient, near Chang'an Street and China International Trade Center. The rooms are very bright and tidy. When I called room service to help me with my Internet connection, a person showed up at my door very quickly. The Internet connection is complimentary. I received a good and considerate service in the Banquet Hall. The breakfast is abundant, and offers a good variety of foods. The service staff is extremely nice. Of course, no hotel is perfect: the hotel can still improve on their service to bring it to an even higher professional level.

I had business to do at the China International Trade Center for several days. I researched hotels near the Panjiayuan area on the Internet, and decided on the Henan Plaza because the rate for its Standard room was within my budget. When I arrived at the gate of the hotel, the doorman was very polite and gave me a smile: it was really a good first impression. In the lobby, the ambiance was lively. When I checked in, I was informed that all Standard rooms were occupied, but my reservation was immediately upgraded to a Deluxe Standard room for free. Excellent! The room was very luxurious and comfortable, and the bathroom spacious. The room service person told me that the water used in the bathroom was coming from a filtered natural spring underground. The breakfast buffet offered both Chinese and Western foods, in abundant quantities. The snacks with an authentic Henan flavor are very popular with guests for good reason. I will stay there again when I come to Beijing next time.

The hotel has a lot of character. There are many books in the lobby, giving it an air of culture. Breakfast was good. Room isn't big, but very clean. The hotel is right inside a park, and very quiet. The surroundings are good. I'd book here again when I come back to Beijing. The problem is that the hotel is hard to find.

Pretty nice hotel. I felt great as I entered. The staff was friendly, especially the receptionist who left a great impression. The location is okay, but kind of hard to find. Just make sure you know the exact address and location.

The area is very good. There's a free park right outside. I went at night, so I'm not sure how it would look in the day. The breakfast was bad, but my stay did not include breakfast, or it would be a waste of money. I arrived at eight and already the food was cold. I made sure to tell this to the management before I leave.

Overall, the hotel is very good Garden-style hotel. I had no problems, obviously except for the horrible breakfast. I would recommend it to friends.

Our 4-star hotel is located near Beijing subway lines No.1 and No.2.

You can visit the major shopping venues within walking distance, or take 15 minutes by cab to tour around Tian’an Men Square and the Forbidden City.

Our restaurant providing South Asian cuisine is of best comment in the city.

The bedroom is very spacious and clean. Although the bathroom is a little bit small. However, it is very convenient to have a private shower stall in the bathroom. The biggest highlight is its location. The SOGO Shopping Mall and Walmart are just right beside the door. The subway station is also within several minutes walking distance. Taking a cab to the Tian'an Men Square only costs RMB 10. With a complimentary Internet access, it offers a high price/performance ratio. It is a little bit difficult to find its front door, because it is so small compared to the huge building. I would recommend this hotel highly for its high price/performance ratio.

It is excellent in every way. Walking distance to the Forbidden City and the subway station. The hotel arranges tours to the Great Wall. Shopping is convenient.
